What and Why?
Variable Speed Pumps will supply a constant pressure regardless of flow demand (within the capabilities of the pump), the greater the system demand the harder the pump works. To achieve smoother operation, the pump will start off slow and speed up as the demand for flow increases, giving seamless transitions in an ever changing system.
VSD's also reduce the pump wear extending their life expectancy; in many cases a VSD can reduce your electricity consumption.
Variable speed is perfect for large domestic or agricultural systems as well as industrial process.
